We have tested CMC, with 2 cabinets (A and B). The system was full equipped - all boards (different types), and the test was successfully. After that, we took just one cabinet (A), installed at the customer site, finished installation, but afterwhile we notice alarms - MINOR, the system still recognise B cabinet and all boards, although there isn't B cabinet any more.
So, my question is - do you know any command which can clear B cabinet and circuit packs, which doesn't exist?
Thanks in advance

Use the command change circuit-packs, you can then delete asll the entries for carrier B

I tried it (change circuit-packs), but Cabinet B still exist!

Is there a jumper on cabinet "A" somewhere? Wisdom is Knowledge

Thanks All Phoneman2

Cabinet B will still exist on the change circuit-packls form, you should be able to remove all the card codes and save the form. Then try clear errors, this should clear the alarms.

I have had this problem before.. Basically you have to put the B carrier back on, with all the same circuit packs, then pull the circuit packs out, and make sure they aren't recognized anymore by the switch under "disp circuit-pack" and then do a save trans..

Make sure the dip swithes in the back of the cabinets are setup according the the instructions beides the dip switches and not the AVAYA documentation, because the documentation is wrong.
