Scenario - Caller in the US wants to call somone on thier Cell Phone in France. The call will route via the NRS to an identical system in France. Same comapny, same network. Both systems are 7.5 and both are fully patched. The US Caller dials the French Cell Phone and the call is routed over the on-network SIP trunks and routes out the PSTN trunks at the French site.

Although CLID entry is set up to provide the whole 10 digit number, only the DN shows up on the Cell Phone.

Anyone else have this issue? If yes, were you able to resolve it?

If the call is made through the PSTN trunks in the US the Caller ID works fine.

Hello John

I've done a small search and found this, that could be the same issue that you are having below.

CS1000 rls 7.5 connected to SRG rls 6.1 over SIP virtual trunks
Incoming ISDN30e call to the SRG, redirected over the SIP trunks to an SRG IP telephone registered to the Main Office - no caller's CLID is displayed on the set, just the DN of the SRG extn.

Solution:
On the SRG, under Configuration, IP Trunks, General, IP Trunk Settings tab, there is an option called Forward Redirected OLI, which is set to 'none' by default. Change to 'First Redirect' to get the callers CLID sent over to the CS1000.

All the best

If it's working, then leave it alone!.

Yeah, I tried to see if this could be an issue. The problem is the call is from a CS1000E to a CS1000E, both RLS 7.5, but they are routing over SIP trunks via the NRS. All RCAP settings match (ND2), but still only get the originating DN and not the full number when the call hops off at the terminating CS1000E.
