Cisco-QOS/Definity-User Datagram Protocol Needed

Dose anyone know what the "UDP" user datagram protocol ports/sig groups are on the Definity are they the same as Cisco 16384-32767 sig port-1720? I need to turn up QOS on our routers for IP trunking.

We are also adding IP trunking. I can't answer your question but am wondering what all you are going to use for QOS/COS. What do you think of Diffserv?

We turned up QOS becuse we are running 60-trunks over a T1 and need to make the most of the bandwith this will all change when we cut over on to a DS3.By the way DiffServ on my switch is 46 and I have found that the ranges in our Cisco router are fine.

I don't beleive the sig group uses a UDP port but actually a TCP port (could be wrong). This is not hard coded but is defined in the signal group form (can be 1719,1720, or 5000-9999). The voice bearer channels on the TN2302AP Media Processor (which are UDP) are programmable in the Network region form where you also enable 802.1p/Q. They can range anywhere from 2048 to 65565 (range always starts with an even number). James Middleton
