Cisco 800 series with Bellsouth DSL 1

I am getting bellsouth (local ISP in Miami) DSL in my new location. Thy normally use Netopia modems/router and use PPPoE. Bellsouth has stated that they will not support any other hardware and that i am on my own to get it running.
I want to setup either a 800 series intergraded router or a 1720 with a DSL WIC.

my questions are:

where do i start to get it going. Can cisco support this configuration with a smartnet?

Where can i find documentation on setting up a DSL connection.

...pretty easy..dont let bellsouth scare you..they never support sh*&!

..you can look at your netopia and verify the atm/pvc stuff

..the below config is working on my 2620 dsl connection to bellsouth..this should be comparable to 1720 or 800 series..

..of course you will want to get spun up on IOS firewall and get the IOS firewall feature set..
