I have Cisco 1710 routers at seventeen remote locations. I am using a DSL connection with, in most cases, a netopia DSL router supplied by the phone co. The Netopia is configured to bridge mode and we have static IP addresses. About once or twice a week I notice when I come in in the morning that one of my remote sites is no longer connected. I have some one at that site power cycle the Cisco and the VPN tunnel is active again. This happens at most of the sites periodically. We do have the equipment pluged into a UPS so power is steady.
What may be causing the break?
What can I do to make the connection more stable?
What kind of logging should I enable to maybe give me a clue as to what is happening?
Thanks
Ron
