Setting up a voicemail for a client. They want very simplified no CCR no nothing. When you call in the want to be able to hit 3 for Person 1 4 for person 2 5 for person 4 and so on. How do you set that up with out a CCR tree? When you call in it will say

"Thank you for calling ABC company.. Press 1 for bob press 2 for jim press 3 for bill.. How do i like 1 2 and 3 to certain extensions on the main menu?"

Any help would be great thank you.

I work on option switches most of the time but I take are of some norstars and bcm also. To me what you are describing would be implemented using a ccr tree. What is a ccr tree to you?

I have setup a hundered CICS / Callpilots. This customer has 2 locations 1 here and 1 in toronto. Both the Exact phone systems CP 100 and CICS 7.0 with 1 4X0 CLID Card. In location in toronto the guy has it setup WITHOUT a CCR tree and you can hit 7 and go directly to Extension 225.

They want it all off the main menu. no CCR Tree.. If they wanted a CCR tree this would be a cake walk and i wouldnt be wasting anyones time here. But it is not the case. They dont want .. Press 1 for company directory. then have the names listed. they want it on the main menu..

Get the phone # of the guy in Toronto and ask him, when you find out could you let us know? Thanks

Unless they are using the built in ccr in the cics there is no way around it other than setting up ccr in call pilot. What does it take to set up ccr, 2 min?
