CICS Mystery

I have a customer with a CICS 7.1 & Call Pilot 3.1. Every few months the time gets stuck and won't update, it's always at the end of the month. I have replaced the battery back-up, I have replaced the entire system and did a start up on it. The problem happened again today. The auto time update works but it won't update because it's in night mode and can't get the update.
Any thoughts appreciated.

Maybe it is getting the wrong date and time from some caller, turn the Auto Time feature off and see what happens in a month.
Its a silly feature anyway.
