I have a cics fiber/clock control gen, NTBB04GE-93. It
has a fiber port in the middle of the card. Will this card give me the 8 additional stations I need? What's the fiber
port for?

Thanks

a CICS Fiber expansion cartridge. Nortel shows it MD in 2003 and EOL in 2006. I don't ever remember seeing anything on this so I am thinking you might be outside of North america? If you still have your original installers guide you might have a reference there. I could only find the Manufacturer's discontinued reference at Nortel.

Thanks Jerry
I'm in the US and got the card online out of Canada. Dates on the card are 1999/11/11, top right. 2001/05 bottom right.
I'll slip it in and see what happens. I'm wondering if the fiber port would allow a NAM to work with a CICS.

I think I would be more interested in a fiber station mod.

Either would make sense, and that being the case, I wish Nortel would bring it back.
