Hello,
I have a CICS and CallPilot 100 that are running very old software. I recently had it installed in my house, and it detected my T7316e sets as M7310 sets. I checked the System version under the Maintenance menu and it says:
SP: 30NeG00 NAT
I was thinking of buying a CICS 7.1 cartridge online and installing that. I don't care about the existing programming. My questions are:
1) What version is this CICS running?
2) Can I upgrade to 7.1 by installing the new software card?
3) What are the differences between the different packages? I see 7.1 software as CICS-RP, CICS-RIP, CICS-SP, CICS-SIP. What's the right one to buy for this SOHO scenario?
Also, I want to upgrade the CallPilot. I already obtained the software upgrade for 3.1 off of Nortel's website along with the upgrade instructions. Can I use any 64 MB PCMCIA CF card to do the job? Also, can I upgrade directly to the latest version (assuming I have the correct bootloader installed)?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
