Change Caller ID Name sent

I'm using a PRI on an Avaya IP office 500 9.1.

I am able to easily change the telephone number that I push out that the caller sees.

is it possible to change the caller ID NAME that the distant caller sees or is that controlled by the phone company?

That is a phone company thing.
