Hey Guys.

I have an IPO setup in 2 different location. Main system is in Montreal with is voicemail pro under windows. Montreal is working fine. I have Toronto location programmed in centralized voicemail. Auto attendant is working perfectly but the voicemail is never picking up the call when nobody answer is extension. This is very strange because it was working the day we install it. I see some message in a few box in Toronto. All the voicemail are there in the Montreal VM pro.

it just ring no answer after the auto attendant.

Any ideas??

Thanks

that is a good question.

Let me check if I can get someone there.

Hi just spoke with someone on site and they can't.

*17 says unobtainable

And visual voice says voicemail not active...

then either the scn is down, (system status should tell you this) if it is up then under system/voicemail check to make sure Toronto is set to centralized and the correct ip line is selected

There is no link between system, can you ping from the IPO in Toronto to the VM pro?
Mike

Yes I can ping the voicemail from Toronto.

And the auto attendant is working.

Line 17 is up an running to Montreal, someone just test it for me.(calling Montreal reception with the extension number)

How is the system/vm tab configured? You have the SCN line as the destination of the vm? Also the AA is being reached by calling Toronto and you can see it routing in SSA to the VM pro? Just making sure that the users are not calling the Montreal number and getting the AA.
Mike

exactly if you can ping it then you have it programmed incorrectly, I already gave you instructions on where to look

You dont say what version this is. i have seen it a few times where 1 site in the SCN would drop off of voicemail. a reboot normally clears it.

Thanks for all the answer!!!

teletechman : I call the Toronto main number 1 416xxxxxxx.In system status I see the call coming in and going to the montreal VM by a code I creat *902 (voicemail node to the VM)If I check in system status

Please take a look at both pictures.

I have the same set up and the only difference is that we have the discovery showing 255.255.255.255 as the IP Address so if you can call Montreal from Toronto and visa versa then try removing the voice mail programming in Toronto and then put it back it and merge and retest, worth a shot

Thanks everyone.

I just fix the issue.

I did an upgrade to 9.1.8 , reprogram the scn line reprogram voice mail tab from scratch and its working fine.

Thank you very much for your help.

I believe recreating the ip line was the fix and not the upgrade
