I have been given a terrific explanation of how to access the Windows library "cards.dll" by strongm - thread 711-635472
I am not able to run this under Win98. It works great in XP! (After figuring out the bitmap persistance problems).
98 does not recognize calls to the dll ('DLL not found' error) and you can't create a 'Reference' to CARDS.DLL in 98 either.
I know this is a fading OS but I was never, for the past 5 years, able to get the cards to work. (McKinney didn't help me at all, creating classes and using his CARDS32.DLL).
Can someone tell me what the answer is to using the DLL that ships with Windows 98?
