Hi,

Ive succesfuly connected my Cisco call manager to my s8300 avaya server. Call is fine. Heres the problem:

avaya to cisco then transfer to another cisco extension from cisco phone--transfer is cut. cant transfer from cisco. But when an avaya phone is initiating the transfer, transfer is OK.

Is there additional setting that i missed out? Or its in the cisco side.

We ran into the same situation. It would appear that this happens whenever you use H.323 trunks between the Avaya and Cisco systems. If you use SIP it does not. I have asked my co-workers in China if they came up with a solution but have not heard back from them yet.

As soon as I hear from them I will let you know their findings.

Thanks. Is the problem in cisco side? Because theres no poroblem if i tranfer from avaya. Please update me for the solution. Thanks a lot.

Onsite...I have a 8700 and CCM 6.0 working together. I can do transfer and holds on both sides.

Let me know if you want me to post any config's. Good luck.

Matthart,

Please send me the config. It will be a lot helpful in my side. Thanks a lot..
