tried to export old users to local D:\PST drive and then to a CD.
Could not create .pst files. Errors kept saying “Some items could not be copied. They were either moved or deleted, or access was denied”.
I attempted these measures:
Checked permissions which were set at None. Changed permissions to owener and tried to export to no avail.
Used another local computer for exporting to no avail.
Copied individual folders to new folders to test read/write ability of emails. Export did not work.
Tried to export different users to no avail.
Ran integrity check of database and no errors were reported.
The only thing that did not bomb out was exporting a very small file with about 20 emails, and this was tried for only one user. I had 4GB of space on the local drive.
Can anybody suggest a solution. I have old users with 800MB email files that I want to take off the server.
Thanks in advance.
