Cannot turn AUTO PREVIEW off (Outlook 2002 for XP) 1

When a message arrives, Auto Preview is turned on (Not the preview pane).

I duly turn it off and it stays like that for a while.

After a bit, it turns back on again!!

HELP PLEASE as the client is the Financial Director and he wants it off!!!

Go to the View menu, point to Current View, and then click Customize Current View. Click Other Settings, and then make sure there is no check next to Preview unread items. Make it No autopreview.
