Cannot boot straight after install

Hi
Just tried to install NT Workstation 4 on a desktop machine using a CD I've never used before. When I boot NT for the first time to complete the 2nd half of the setup I get a error message saying

STOP c000026c cannot load wdvga.sys

after looking at articles from MS on the topic, (and re-installing) it seems I need a program called rdisk.exe which will make me up a ERD which I can replace practically an system file with. The problem is that its not on this CD and do't have any other NT workstations to copy it from. Help please!

I'd suggest you have a hardware problem.

You might have faulty memory modules or CD-rom drive.

Or you can always try to copy that cd and try to make another copy of it and give it another try.

Thanks guys - it was faulty RAM. I'd call that "hole in one!"
