Cannot access admin mode on Norstar system

I want the mainline to ring on certain phones in the office and on those phones when the user picks up the handset it should answer that line.

I believe I need to be in Admin mode to make these changes but when I try and enter Admin mode, nothing happens.

Steps to repeat:

1. Press Feature**23646
2. Stare stupidly at phone until it cancels out.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You need to go into Feature **266344, then enter your password.

I can get into config mode, but I am not sure what options to change there.

Believe me, I have RTFM, I have it sitting on the desk next to me.

I was looking for "capabilities" which it tells me to log into the Administration Mode, which I can't.

It's in configuration/line access.

When in doubt RTFM (read the friggin manual)

Once you are in by config mode,
press show at terminals and set, enter set #,
press show - line access,
press show - line assignment, enter line # and change the line appearance to that set to appear and ring.
Press the header to get back to where you can choose the next set.

Going into admin mode won't allow you to configure lines.

The maual you have is the System Administrators manual, most likely.

Go to the site Acewarlock provided and download an Installers manual which will help with the configuration mode.
