I have one user who deals with a lot of outside contacts. When she calls them her CND displays as NPA-NNX-NNNN where NNNN is her extension number.

The number is a valid telephone number , but does not route back to our switch.

Her contacts are getting frustrated with reaching a "wrong number" and the person at that number is not happy and not willing to communicate about the problem.

Is this a setting on the TN that needs to be changed, something else in the switch programming or a Telco problem, or a combination of any of the three?

I change her extension and for the moment the CND that appears does add her extension to the number display but the new number is not valid.

Can anyone at least point me in the right direction.

I have access to the terminal but am not familiar with it. We handle MAC via Telephony Manager.

It is the CLID programming in the CDB
