Calls forwarding to Operator

Hi guys and gals. I have a weird one. When calls are placed to this user, it gets routed to the Operator. When the Operator transfers you, you here her greeting and then after the greeting, it gets forwarded back to the Operator. This is a Merlin Legend R3 with a VMX 100 A.7.1.4. (I know...old!) Anyway, any assistance would be very helpful. Thanks.

My guess is that it has to do with the voice mailbox not being set-up correctly. If an extension is in voicemail coverage, but doesn't have voicemail, it will ring the extension and then transfer out to the operator. It sounds like the mailbox maybe set-up as announce only so that the caller hears the message and then is transfered out to the receptionist becuase there is no option to leave a message. I am not familiar with the VMX 100 though, so I can't help you with that portion.
