Yes, I know, it's old. :)

Main DID - 800-555-5555
My DID - 800-555-1234

We moved to a new office. Same phone number same setup. Now when someone dials out it shows the wrong DID. Instead of showing the main DID it shows my DID.

How do I get it to switch back? Also, users like myself, I still want it to show my DID when I call someone.

Does this make sense? Thanks!

The did send is linked to the incoming call route.
If you want a user to send the common did then change the incoming did to 5551234 for extendion 1234.
Or create a user restriction page for the users who need to send the common did and add a shortcode like this:
sc = 9N
tn = Ns8005555555
line ID = 50:ars

Funny that new ARS feature in 3.0 :)

ARS does not exist in 3.x
It came in 4.0

What Intrigrant means is the line id of your trunk instead of ARS

We don't need to dial 9 to get an outside line. Here is the Short Code I created:

Code N
Feature Dial
Telephone Number Ns8005555555
Line Group Id 0

Now when I call the caller ID shows the user's extension instead of the incorrect DID.

I tried using Code 9N and it just showed the incorrect DID.

Sounds like the provider does not allow you to send the number you want.

nope still showed the wrong number. i'm going to call my provider and make sure they are allowing me to set caller id

If Ns or Nsi does not work then it's you provider.

i have a PRI so my telco said i should be able to change anything i want.

Without changing re-try in a half an hour, I bet it works and your provider has changed somthing.

Look in monitor to see what you are sending and what your PRI is sending out.

when i called my cell and looked at the monitor app, i searched for the DIDs and it found nothing

Have you turned ISDN layer 1 2 and 3 on in the monitor trace?

Take Care

I have always wished that my computer would be as easy to use as my telephone.
My wish has come true. I no longer know how to use my telephone.

Yes ISDN Events Layer 1, 2, 3 are all checked. Do i need to check anything under packets?

Yes... my bad you need the packets on...

okay what exactly am i looking for because there is still no reference to my DIDs.

i know this is silly, but have you tried

? /.s<number to present> / Dial / Line G /

one thing to try is put in your user SC the above to present a different DDI other than the one in your ICR.

this way you can see if you have any number manipulation or not. not all telcos offer all these services when you order your lines.
