Is it possible that calls hitting the CP100 arent routing to the correct extensions(INTERMITTANTLY)? When I test call the tn and want to speak to Paul@Ex222 I've reached him all the time. They are saying that sometimes it will go to 224 even though they pressed 222. I thought maybe the DN length had changed. But I can't seem to have the problem occur when I call in. I will be paying them a visit to check all the settings. Not sure what the trouble could be. Its terminated to CICS/6.0 CP100 2.0. Cheers

It could be cell phones not sending DTMF clear enough. There was also a patch for earlier call pilots with DTMF problems- you can find the threads if you search.

Thanks to this site's routine maintenance you cannot search threads.
This is getting very frustrating I was looking for one of my own threads today and it took half an hour to parse through them all.
What a pain.

Can't search Threads...For DTMF///
Wondering if the CP100 2.0 would require this patch....

They is a patch and telnet commands that have to be entered. I just had a customer that had the same issue. This patch fixed then right up. Check with you Vendor for this patch. All software up to 2.1 could have this issue.

Thanks mikescience- I did not know that problem went all the way to 2.1

I spoke to the vendor I bought it from. He stated that the only patch he knows is for 1.5 release. Not for 2.0....Hmmm..not sure what to do now.

Thats what I thought also- but if MS is correct... perhaps he can elaborate, or you could just try the patch.

Thanks bkrike, so maybe I'll run the patch for the 1.5??
Even though the release is 2.0....

The 2.1 patch will not patch the dsp firmware causing the DTMF problem.
You must patch the DSP's and upgrade to 2.1 to fix a bunch of other bugs.

I just called my vendor..he hasn't seen CP release 2.1. Should I find another vendor? He states only 2.0

Your vendor probably has 2.0 in stock and wants to get rid of them.
