Call Pilot answers with fast busy on line3+

I have a MICS 6.1, T1, Call Pilot 100. AA on and configured.

When outside lines 1 and 2 call in, they ring the receptionist for 3 rings, then go to auto attendent.

For outside lines 3 and up, when a caller happens to call in on one of these lines, they get a fast busy.

In the AA setup menu, I have lines 1-12 set up to the same greeting table, the same number of rings, AA on. On the MICS setup side, I have the lines in the same pool, prime set (equal to the receptionist extension), manual answer mode, etc.

If I put lines 3+ in auto answer mode, with the default DISA on, I do get a dialtone when I call in on those lines. It's sounding like maybe something when the Call Pilot thinks it should answer, it gets lost or something.

Any idea why it'd only answer with a fast busy when the lines are configured like the others?

Thanks

is ur T1 configured as individual trunks?
or do u get them as DIDs?

It's E&M, with DID turned off. They're basically individual lines, in one trunk/hunt group. Each inbound call starts at line one, then rolls over if that's busy, etc...

you must either set DISA or the AA ... i dont understand why both are enabled

how many incoming / outgoing and bothway trunks you have?

I just put DISA on to see if it would work and rule out a line config problem....at least it's coming into the Nortel.

Normally, I have the lines in manual answer mode and DISA isn't even an option. When I tried DISA, I got the dialtone, but that was just a test. In normal manual answer, whoever rings in gets a fast-busy, but only on line 3, 4, 5, etc... 1 and 2 are configured the same way and they answer fine -- three rings to the receptionist, then the AA if she doesn't pick up.

I have 18 lines active on the T1, and all are configured in/out. The inbound calls home forward (1,2,3,etc...) any outbound calls start from the bottom and work their way up.

are the lines configured the same way in the CO?
can u make an outgoing call on line3,4,5?

try a reboot
