I PROGRAM FLASH AND NAMS TO RETURN TO AUTO ATTENDANT. I USUALLY SET UP A GREETING IN THE GENERAL MAILBOX 100 TO SAY YOU HAVE REACHED THE GENERAL MAILBOX PRESS THE STAR KEY TO RETURN TO THE MAIN MENU OR REMAIN ON THE LINE TO LEAVE A MESSAGE THAT WILL FORWARDED TO THE APPROPIATE PERSON. ON CALL PILOT 100 HOW TO YOU GET BACK TO THE MAIN MENU FOR A MAILBOX THE STAR KEY IS INACTIVE EVEN THOUGH RETURN TO AA IS SET. HOW CAN I RETURN TO THE AA MAIN GREETING FROM A MAILBOX. I WAS UNABLE TO PROGRAM THE TARGET ATTENTANT IN THE GENERAL MAILBOX TO GO TO THE CALL PILOT MAIN DN, ANY IDEAS APPRECIATED

PS. I ALSO REALISED YOU CANNOT COPY USER PREFERENCES FOR A T7316 TO A T7316E. CORRECT ME IF I AM WRONG.

I don't have a CP100 to test with.

T7316 & T7316e are two different creatures.

Sounds like your call pilot is set up CP mode you need to change to NVM emulation for the * return to AA to work

Yes the star works when nvm is used. i still have cp user interface though.

If you want NVM interface, it is under system properties.
--Uncheck Enable CallPilot User Interface- Although I don’t know if this bell can be un-rung, as I have never felt it necessary to enable CP user interface.

You can switch between them without losing any configuration

You have to change the properties of the Auto-Attendant
1 Click the Auto-Attendant heading.
2 Click the General Properties link.
The Auto-Attendant Properties page appears.
3 Set the properties that apply to all Greeting Tables:
Return to Auto-Attendant mark the box
Touchtone Gate select none
