Does the 3.0 give you more than 10 mailboxes? Why would I should get buy 1.0 or 3.0? Out beside they need a voice! Thank goodness it is Friday!

1st version of the CP was 1.5 and there were bugs.

But to answer your question it depends on the software of the system you are connecting to. CICS/MICS 7.x requires 3.x CP software.

By default all CP 100's come with 10 mailboxes. As Marv stated, the release of the CP required is determined by the release of the system it is connected to.

I am putting it on a MICS 6.0 or 6.1. So I should put a 3.0 on that one or will it work on it?

MICS 6.x requires CP 2.x or higher.

What ever you put in, have your local vendor then upgrade it to 3.1 for you.
