Call out through Call Log

Can you call out thru the call log on a CICS System? The area code shows up last and when you hit a line, it doesn't dial it properly because area code comes last. Like this 849-5578 (315)

Is there anyway to change this?

Just dial in area code then hit a line button. The system will dial the rest.
