Hi There
We are planning on switching systems from an (old) Avaya IP Office 500 to a new cloud PBX.
The IP Office has a PRI connection, which is then connected to a OneAccess box which is converting the PRI interface to a network interface and then connecting to a SIP service (rather than previously ISDN).
Calls from the cloud PBX to external phones, and cloud pbx to cloud pbx calls all seem to be fine with little to no voice delay - so we have more or less eliminated the cloud PBX and its connections as a fault.
When ding calls from the Avaya, we sometimes get voice delays - usually fixes itself after a short period or rebooting a number of devices.
When doing a call forward from the Avaya to a DID on the cloud PBX, we are seeing a 1 to 2 seconds delay introduced on the line - therefore callers usually start to talk over each other, causing frustration. Obviously the better method would be to divert from the telephone exchange to the cloud DIDs, but this is not presently an option. Therefore is there anything I should be looking at on the Avaya which might introduce a delay in voice on calls?
Thanks!
