In a vector step: route-to digits with cov y we seem to lose the display of the incoming DNIS/VDN. Does anyone know of way to have the display show the VDN name?

Try the following command:

cha vdn xxxx (where xxxx is the vdn not displaying)

In this form change the following line:

Allow VDN Overide? Y or N

Choose "N" (I'm assuming it's set to "Y"

Good Luck!

VDN is already set to "n". Thanks. I believe the problem has to with the route to digits w/ cov Y. IF not mistaken this basically has the VDN execute a transfer similar to a trunk-to-trunk since I do get the ANI of the caller on the display instead of the VDN name.

Try setting w/cov n. We had oposite requirement recently and changing from w/cov 'n' to 'y' stopped the original VDN Name being forwarded across the network and over-riding the name assigned to the last VDN in the chain.

This assumes that you have Look Ahead Interflow (LAI) option enabled - not sure whether w/cov 'n' is available without LAI.

Also from reading the manual at the time, setting w/cov to 'y' disables LAI.

Hope this is of some use.
