I just set up 2 new 1140 ip phones. These are here in my office and the cs1000 is in a different building. The telephone numbers were comming up caller id of the cs1000 building. I built a new clid table 1 to outpulse the DN. This worked great. Now I do not have any Calling party name display only the number shows. What did I break?

If you removed the DNs, then didn't re-add the names, that would account for an issue.

If the Name is Central Office generated, and you changed the CLID, then CO may not know the name of the new CLID.

Grasping at straws here since I'm not sure "where" the Name is missing from. Internal, external, etc

I would say both. I have 81c5.0 with point to point t1's to 11c's. I/the district bought cs1000e as trial and placed it at one of the 11c sights as if it was an 11c off the 81.
I reside at the 81 building and routed my number out to cs1000. Built 1140 phone and assigned my number there. all good but clid 0 was that sight not mine.used what you gave me and built clid 1 and reassigned my key 0 to 4099 1. At this point My dn was outpulsed and I thought all was good.
Now phone to phone on cs1000 all id good
cs1000 to 81c only dn number ie 4099 no name
81c or other 11c to cs1000 only dn
cs1000 to outside shows my dn on my phone and clid0 for rest
sory so wordy

here is the clidver of my number.
