We have an OPT 61, The Fax server folks want analog lines from PBX. The lines must be Loop. The server answers then
gives a tone, the PBX should then send digits. I have tried to set up a DID rte to Auto Term to a 500 port, no joy. The only thing the Brooktrout responds to is our analog ( 500 )
port. Any Ideas? Past posts on this issue seem to trial off.
Did anyone find a solution?

can you build an analog loop start did? i haven't tried but give it a whirl, if you get stuck i'll build a quick route and try it here..

John,

Thanks! I built a DID RTE and could never get the Brooktrout to answer my call. I tried wnk/wnk ddl/ddl
imm/imm no joy. The only time he will answer is if it is set up as a 500 port.

Brooktrout, that word alone gives me the shakes. here is what I have working on my option 61, this should help. BTW I covered every type of config I could think of and it was still real picky. This should work.

Thanx PBXN,

I have had great success with this in a lineside
config, however I am stuck with making this fly in an analog
enviroment.

I was in your same shoes, and this is what they got whether they liked it or not. Brooktrout has some Nortle specific programming guidlines on their site I believe, but this was the only thing that seemed to make the server happy.

that's a pain, the brook will not answer a wnk, the delayed will not send digits after answer supervision. i build a ldr trunk with imm start, don't have a brook to test it on? had to use imm start

try building a dsc to the analog loop start trunk, use a dgt to insert the 4 digits, i know that you can send digits to a page system post answer using that
