Beeping sound when agent is on call 1

Here is the low down.......We have an agent on a survivable EPN in another site. She says that she hears a beeping when she is on an ACD call, and the caller can hear the beep as well. We have swapped phones, cross connect ports, busied out the phone, and switched headsets, whew.......Any ideas on what this is, or if anyone has heard of this issue. The kicker is we have 10 other agents on the same EPN, same digital board and they are working fine. Any help is greatly appreciated.
 
Is the agent being monitored via Service Observe? You can set warning tones in System-Parameters Features for both Malicious Call Trace and Service Observe.

Believe me with this one we have been Grasping for straws as well.......I did check and we have tone set to N for those parameters.
 
Have you replaced the batteries in the headset...?

Yes we have replaced headset with a confirmed good headset.
 
Is this a management issue? It seems People at our call center constantly trump up issues so they dont have to stay on the phones.
 
Is this agent on a Callmaster? The Callmasters with a recorder interface generate a beep also. There is a way to turn it off, but I do not recall what it is.

I found that if you replace the piece between the phone and headset, your problem may go away... hehe

Smegecki - Very true, this individual first complained of a delay, until we moved her cross connect, now she says that is fine but now the beeping........I told her it was a problem with the Id10t module. hehe

Phonepd - Yes it is a callmaster 5. Is the setting on the station setting or sys parameters?
 
TelcoTech why don't you monitor her and see if you hear the beeping also? If you don't hear the beeping just change part of the phone and tell her that you monitored her and the beeping went away and she should be fine. I do that alot with some of our agents here that complain of phone problems because they want to be off the phone and they don't tell me of any problems after that. Just a thought.
 
on callmaster V there are 2 dip switches on the underside of the phone.

set both to 0 to disable beeping.
 
I just had one today where a person says the phone wont go into wrap. I replaced her phone and told the coach to visible monitor this agent to make sure shes following procedure.

This also could be a pebkac error.

Problem exists between keyboard and chair. :)
 
Shaneymc YOU ARE A TELECOM GOD !!!!!! IT WORKED!!!!! This has been an ongoing battle for some time. We all appreciate the help.
