Basic Outoing Short Codes Overview 1

I had training on the IPO way back when it was on version 3.

I have put in new 6.0 system a few years ago.

Can someone please post a brief overview on what I need put into the ARS, Shortcodes, and User Short Codes?

System Overview: Newest version of IPO version 8. The client has a full PRI with 40 or so numbers. We are looking for each user to send different outgoing caller id.

I just need a refresher on the [9]N; and the Nsi and the outgoing CLI. What needs to be in the ARS and short codes in terms of secondary dial tone.

You are using Nsi, try NS in your short code.

S is ALWAYS caps.

It would never be Nsi nor NsI but always NSi. Granted you can sometimes fudge the caps but in this case N and S are without exception capital and i is without exception lower case and thus NSi is the only proper use.

Do you have licenses for the PRI card?
It comes with 8 channels enabled but it needs licenses if you want more channels (up to 23 or 30)

I think the actually PRI just went down.

I got a few calls out, but now it shows as out of service.
 
That should show up in a trace.
Did you have it running?

This says that it is unlicensed.
So do you have pri add licenses.

To go back at the initial question:
Give the users a number equal to the last three digits of the DDI range
Route incoming calls to groups with a different number were you put you user in

Like :
DDI = 123456777
User = 777
Group = 277

ARS shortcode = ? / .s123456E / Dial / Line group ID

You need only one shortcode as the E represents the users phone number

And in SSA you can see how many licensed PRI channels you have
