Hi,

We have an IPO with more then 10 customers. Now one of them is going to start using Avaya SoftConsole. However, in this application under the directory list we now see ALL directories in the IPO. What am looking for is a way to remove all these for the customer so that they can add their own only.

Can this be done? Personal Directories in Avaya Softconsole?

Why don't you just create a BLF group and add them there?

One of these days everything will work as it should, and then we'll all be out of a job!
 
Softconsole Uses the internal an system directory and not the personal Phone directory.
So use "BLF's" and remove the system directory.

What do you mean with "We have an IPO with more then 10 customers." ?
One of the few things IP Office really can't do is Multi-Tennat. You can have multiple companies on the system as long as they belong together, i.e. the are allowed to see each other, share a common number plan, share directories, etc. If this companies don't' know about each other and have no relationship, it's not a good idea to do this with a shared IPO.
 
There is no way to hide the system directory? The only way would be to remove all system contacts?
 
Yes, but the engineer(s) configuring/maintaining it really should know such things :)

 
Yes he should know how to hide users/groups showing on your softconsole.

After your response you may have a harder time now getting support on this issue.
