Avaya SIP Phone Recommendation (Call Center) 1

We are putting our call center on VoIP (SIP). Can someone recommend a good call center VoIP phone that supports SIP. I was looking at the 4622 but they are not AST(Advanced SIP Telephones. Anyone using SIP in the call center? What is your experience with it?

On the Avaya PBX "IF" you are CM5.x and if you have SES 5.x then you can use the 16xxCC series SIP phones for Agents. They are the only phones that will work as agents.

Suggest you stay with H.323 for awhile longer. 46xx and 96xx series phones will run H.323 firmware and you should be able to convert when they support call center agents on SIP.
