Hello all,

I have a problem, i try to install a Avaya Server 9.1.200 on a Hyper-V Server from the ISO.

When the installation is finish, and that i try to login on i have an error apache HTTP 404
Same problem if i install from 9.0 ISO (it works in this version) but if i upgrade to 9.1, the same error appears

The avaya support tell me that hyper-V is not supported with Avaya Server, but i remember in previous versions (R8.1 maybe, it's working)

Does anybody know a solution to make it work ?
Or i need to find another solution ?

Thanks !

I never tried on HyperV as this is not supported ..
Did you try to access 7071 port instead of 7070 ?

VMware ESXI Hypervisor is free. For less than 3 virtual machines you can get by without the full client. VMware is supported by Avaya.

The 3 VM limit was removed from ESXi long time ago as well as the later 32GB RAM limit.

Did you use a legacy network adaptor or a normal one in your Hyper-V machine.

I wouldn't use Hyper-V for a server edition install, but have many using it for Apps Server installs. Although not sure we have a 9.1.

The docs used to say that it is supported on whatever Red Hat sya works for the OS, and Hyper-V is ok with them. I've had this argument with Avaya in the past!!!!

It works just fine for me on Hyper-V.
There's even a FAQ on this.

Kind regards

Gunnar

Thanks for all your answer

As Pkdev said, on the 7071 port it's work, but i don't know why i have the apache error on 7070

Actually, i'm waiting for the licences to test de platform.

Gunnaro, which FAQ are you talking about ? Have you got a link ?

I'm talking about the FAQ section on this forum.
You can find it here: faq940-7690

Kind regards

Gunnar
