Hi,
is there anyone tried or can guide how to use Avaya J179 or J159 Phones via Internet to Register to SM.
we have SBCE working and IX Clients are registered and Working.
now the Customer Wants to Use few J159 and J179 SIP Phones to be Placed in a remote Location with Internet Availability. can someone help me to give some Procedures or steps, how i can achieve this request. as this is my first time to do this activity, appreciate the help.

You gave next to no details on your setup. Do you have a public dns already assigned to your remote worker setup? Do you have a public certificate assigned? I’m assuming you only have your ix clients registered on your internal network or using a vpn.

i haven't Configured the Phone. we are installing SMGR CA Certificate in Mobile users.
yes, we have IX workplace users using the application from outside the network with the Public IP address. it works fine.
same functionality, we are trying to achieve by J179 Phones.

in the J179 i can use Public IP ?
can you give please give me the steps to Configure this..

Do you plan to use ios/android devices? You’ll need to use a public certificate. You may want to map out your overall design and read the documentation as it’s not a step-by-step procedures.
