Hi everyone,
I have a used IP406 Office and it doesn't work. I am trying to erase the flash configuration because I don't have access to the previous username and password information. I've followed the instructions on the DTE Port Maintenance guide but after I put the command AT-X2, instead of the control unit responding with 0x0200C000H Erase, I get Sector 2 Erase (NV Config). If I continue by putting the command AT-X3, I get Sector Erases (Config) followed by OK (03) OK (04) OK (05) instead of 0x02001000H Erase. My IP406 Office also has a red light on the center LED whenever I put have it on the Loader message, but there is no red light if I just turn it on by itself without pressing the esc key.
Afterward, if I connect the IP406 Office to the IP Office Manager, it still has the previous owner's set up. I'm pretty sure it's because I didn't erase the flash configuration properly.
This is my first time dealing with this kind of problem and I'd really appreciate it if you all could give me some support on this. Thanks!
Regards,
Paul
