Hello everyone,
meanwhile, I introduce myself, I am a new user and I found this forum on the internet. In the company where I work, we have an Avaya IP403 Office Platform. I'd like to know if this module can work with the Lucent Argentphone 16 for analog phones. If so,
which software version?

Thank you in advance for availability and I apologize for my (google) English.

depends if your 403 is a DS or DT

what does it have written next to IP403? DT or DS

if DT then you can.

If DS then you cant.

DT is older Alchemey Digital method of connecting phones, DS is newer Avaya IP Office Method.

What utter ********

It isn't often that HSM is wrong, but on this he is.

Regardless of the type of IPO403, Alchemy Pots units will work and are / were supported.

The 403 DT and DS have firmware up to 3.2 and the alchemy units (and trunks cards) worked and were supported on all versions of 3.2.

Take Care

I have always wished that my computer would be as easy to use as my telephone.
My wish has come true. I no longer know how to use my telephone.

Indeed :)
DT or not has nothing to do with analog.
My DT soe even runs on 4.2 very fine.
Only the DT ports stop working.

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

ok - sorry I totally missed the Alog bit in the original post and assumed a DT or DS module. miss read. not mis informed ;-)

Thank you all for your replies. So I understand that Lucent Argentphone is well. Good.
Actually I have the following problem and I do not know how to fix it (I thought to buy Lucent to resolve it). As I said in my previous post I have a ip403 and two extension modules: one for digital phones (working) and one - Avaya IP400 - of 16 units for analog phones (no longer working for a week)

The Symptoms are:

the ringing tone is not audible from any analog phone connected to the module;
analog phones can not make and receive calls;
you hear only one electrical noise or a strange musical note from any analog phone.

The LED module is normally green (when I turn on the module, it is red and turns green after a few minutes)
We have conducted various tests, taking care to turn on our ip403 always after the two extension modules.
Also we tried to exchange links between the two modules, behind the ip403, but the situation has not changed.

Using only the ip403 and the module for digital phones, everything works fine.
In conclusion, only the module for analog phones seems to be damaged. You think that my module is broken?
Do you have any advice for me or suggest any test to solve this problem?

Thanks so much for the help.
And as usual sorry for my google english.

Try changing the power supply, failing that it can be sent for repair, Multimessage do it in the UK, but it does sound rather old :)

Thank you for your reply. I did not understand the rest of the message after "multimessage", sorry. Did you mean that I have to open another thread?
