Avaya Ip Office Call Recording question

Hello

We have an IP office 500 with CCR reporting/Recording installed, We would like to turn on call recording for an selected users Q1. can 3 users record to the same mailbox at the same time? When we tested this, on every recorded call the line crackles. So I went to
System
Telephony
Tones & Music
Clicked the box saying GSM Silence Suppression
The VCM tab showed
Echo Return (db) 6
Nonlinear Processor Mode Adaptive
NLP comfort Noise -9db
nlp comfort noise celing -30db

This worked but all the other people calls said they was a bad echo on the line. Q2 does somewthing else need to changed?
 
Hey,

You can have the recordings go to one mailbox, it's just a setting under the Voice-Recording tab on the user.

What sw is the 500 running? Are you just using IP phones?

IP sw5610 phones, running software 6.18

 
You have to remember that when recording, it uses a voicemail port. so as long as you want to use 3 vociemail ports to record at teh same time, sure. All the setting says is that upon completion of the recording, where are we going to put the recording? So yes, you can record 3 calls, all to the same mailbox.

What are the pc specs of the PC running VM Pro?


 
Try this:

Change these settings

1 For the VCM settings:
-Set Nonlinear Processor Mode to Disabled.
-Set NLP Comfort Noise Ceiling to -55

2 In NO User ---> source number put the below string
CONFERENCE_DSP_TX_GAIN=-3

You need to reboot.
See if this fixes your issue.

I have 8 Voicemail Ports,

In NO User ---> source number put the below string CONFERENCE_DSP_TX_GAIN=-3 silly question where is this on the system?
 
Go to the user called "NoUser"

It has a tab called "Source number"

Put this string in there.

Then reboot and try again.

what about echo return loss ? and the NLP attenuation should these same as defaults of 6db and -9db
 
Everything should be default and only change the settings i gave you.
I remember this being an issue in 6.0
