Hello People,

I need to know if I can use rest api to manage an avaya ip office 500 v2 (no server edition), the documentation mentions that I can do it through the application server. But I cannot join the Application server with the IPO500 v2 to reach the configuration. Thanks!!!

Part of the documentation Avaya_Management_API_IPO11_0:
The above figure shows a typical IP 500 V2 solution for accessing the Management APIs. The Application Server will provide Web services for IP500 V2 Standard Edition. Authentication will be done against the Shell IPO security Database. Credentials of the service user on the nodes and Shell IPO must be the same. ProvisionIPAddress Web Service is provided to provision IP address of the IP 500 V2 standard edition so as to access the Management APIs.

Don't know the URL part exactly.

If you have the management access user on both systems you have to connect to Application Server Rest API. The URL has to be suffixed with?ipaddress=192.168.43.1

To be honest, I am not sure if ipaddress is correct, but you will find it in the docs.

The docs you wrote down mention IPO standard edition. Mine is preferred edition and uses the application server I connect the REST client to.

Thanks for your reply Derfloh

I have my IPO 500 v2 Preferred Edition with IP: 10.58.130.15 and my application server with IP 10.58.130.171. I use the IP 10.58.130.171 of the application server at this way: and I successfully get the answer with any user because I can't reach the users of the IP Office 500 v2. I have the same service users in both systems. I don't know if I have a conceptual problem.
