Hello, Please help me - We have three offices and in head office music on hold is working properly and in others it is not working properly, So i downloaded MOH from my office and i uploaded it in into other two offices at the same location (SD Card). I compared short code also with my office to other offices, and corrected it *34. Still it is not working.[sad]

After putting it into the primary folder you need to reboot the system.

Hi Westi -
I rebooted already. And i named the file as HoldMusic.wav Is it ok?

all lower case, holdmusic.wav, and confirm that on the System > Telephony tab it is set to wav file, not external

Hi, Tommy
The same file with the same file name is already working here in my head office.

System>Tones and Music>Music on Hold set to wav file?

After uploading the file to the SD>System>Primary folder a reboot is only required on R8.1 and lower.

Use sys monitor to see is the wav file is correct, enable the filesys options filter and see if you get a message like "HoldMusic : Walk to Wav succeeded/failed"
and if failed it will show why it failed.

Hi intrigrant,

After updating i rebooted already.[neutral] Still MOH not working
How to monitor the wav file is correct. Please tell step by step.

Sorry i don't do that, not for my collegues and not for you, figure it out yourself.
The filters are self explanatory enough

Oh,
Its ok - i will check myself.

Thank you

Please help meee..... Still it is not working [neutral]

8kHz PCM 16 bit mono under 1 min 30 seconds.
upload to the primary folder in embedded file management.
Run the file through audacity so you're sure.

May the fourth be with you.

Try to spend the next 10 seconds not thinking about a blue eyed polar bear.

Thank you - Joe W. and holdmusic34

I will upload this .Wav file and get back to you. I can try this in the evening only because right now our call center team is very busy

it shouldn't matter. you don't need to reboot if you've already set the source to external.

holdmusic34 - I set the source as WAV file and i uploaded the file into primary folder

No music is hearing - Only silence. When i changed the HOLD MUSIC-SYSTEM SOURCE as Tone, then i can listen a beep sound while the call is on hold.

Probably time for you to call your maintainer as you have been given all the necessary information & appear to be having problems

I dont think thee is much more anyone here can do for you

Do things on the cheap & it will cost you dear
