Auto Record displaying on Call Record button 1

Did i just notice this, or was this a change in R5. I have contact store and when i auto record a conversation it lights up my record button? Is there any way to change this?
 
tick hide auto recording, that will stop it showing on the handset.

I wonder why you would want to keep a record button from lighting when you are recording?
 
because the agents don't need to know that they are recorded if you are not recording 100% of the calls. They are getting it and behave differently when they know when they are recorded and when they are "alone" without big brother on the phone.

So people don't know when they are being auto recorded or not.
 
Cake and eat it? How about removing the button? I suppoe you will say that they need to manually record calls?
 
Change that button to dial a shortcode set to record call then, it will not show the auto recording then :)

However, I imagine they would have to put the call on hold and press that button then it will record and reconnect them :)

Thank you, that's the only way around it until they fix this, It shouldn't do this I think :)

I don't know about "fixing" it. You could say that it should have notified all along therefore the fix has been applied. Then again it could go either way.
 
Don't think on call will work. When they dial direct someone they don't get recorded, so even though they are on call, the button wouldn't be lit.
 
Relabled to ON ACD CALL. ;)

Of course, if we're going to mess with the agents minds, make it a USER button for themselves, that way they strive to do their best on every call, still thinking its being recorded.
