Authorization Codes

Sorry for the long post. I have read the Avaya documentation. I have read the cheat sheets in the forum on Avaya Tips. I need a little assistance.

What I am trying to do is set a phone up for authorization code use. Currently the set is setup for internal only. The way I understand it - I dial the number - I am supposed to get a second dial tone. Then I dial the auth code. The minute I try to dial out, I get wave off.

My question is:

Do I have to mark the trunk group for yes for auth codes?
If so, does this force the whole EPN to have to dial an authorization code to dial out? (According to the docs - yes) I do not want anyone to have to dial an auth code unless their restriction is low that they would have to.

I have included copies of the screens as they are set up. Sorry fo rthe long post, once again. Any assistance is much appreciated.
