Authorization Codes Do Not work through GSM Gateway

Hi all,

I have an IPO setup with an E1 GSM gateway. For some reason, Auth Codes do not work through this gateway. If I use any other trunk, the authcodes work fine but otherwise the call ends with busy and a disconnect code of 28.

Cause No. 28 - invalid number format (address incomplete).

This cause indicates that the called party cannot be reached because the called party number is not in a valid format or is not complete.

Has anyone seen a similar issue.

this is probably nothing to do with auth codes
have you looked at what is actually being sent to the GSM gateway by the IPO?

A Maintenance contract is essential, not a Luxury.
Do things on the cheap & it will cost you dear

I can't get anything from the gateway as the call never reaches the place to connect. It would seem like the IPO holds the trunk before the Auth code is entered.

Any thoughts anyone?

The SIP host is disconnecting the call because you are not sending enough digits or they are in the wrong format.
How is SIP even associated with this call? Is this a SIP line you are routing to? Line: type=SIPLine 260
Check your outgoing group ID for your E1 GSM is different to the SIP line.

I'm clear but my fighter is down.

This is from a SIP phone over the E1.

The sip is rejecting it. Tried a real phone like a 9508 or a POT with your butt?

I'm clear but my fighter is down.

Yes, I get the same problem when calling with an analog or 9620 telephone.
