I am looking to use call monitoring that handles incoming and outgoing calls on each of our phone lines.
The problem is that we have some users who connect to external networks via a modem on an analogue line. This traffic is being shown as coming fom our main line.
I need to assign this analogue line an extension number so the software can differentiate it from the actual calls going from the main line.

Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

look at the clid table layout, you can program that to show the actual ext, if you have pri. quicker is to turn on internal cdr. need your switch type if you need the code

switch is a Baystack 5520

might need to move that query over a block or two, this forum is for nortel's merridian line. almost no one here plays with the 5520, last time i worked on baystack per-station clid was not an option. by now it should be in the box
