Analog Trunk Card Voicemail?

Hello all

i have a ip412 with a 4 port analog trunk card

set my main hunt group line id 701

the system will not answer the calls via voicemail?

is there a route / hunt group missing?

what type of voicemail is it? is the voicemail running? does *17 work?


 
Id also check that pointing the ICR to an extension actually rings that extension.

Yes to all the above the 2 analog lines ring on the incoming lines and when i create a ICR to set extension works no problem

voicemail works i can login etc


but does not answer i have in the hunt group

How is your hunt group set up?
WHat vm are you running.

set an overflow group see if that works?

or just scrap that group and start again

with what in that group?

What happens if you ring 200 from an internal phone?

ringing 200 shows main and displays on the sets if button is porgrammed
should note not license key is in this is a test voicemail

You have 2 lines, set to ring a hunt group through an ICR

and a Line appearnce key?

I'd suggest that you remove the line appearance key from all the phones and try again.

When you do not have a license it stops working after two hours
Restart the services and try again
Also your no answer time is the same as the voicemail time
Remove the no answer time or set it higher

let's go back to the basics, does your voicemail actually answer if you press *17 if yea then call an EXTENSION and see if it covers to VM if yes call the huntgroup 200 and see if it covers to VM if no delete the huntgroup and redo it.
Or even better don't delete it and make a new one and test with that if it goes to VM.

I will try that and in regards to the vm lite I did not see it on the cd I downloaded from the avaya site
