I have found a few posts trying to get the Message Waiting Indicator to work on analog phones but I have not been able to see where anyone has got this working.

The 2 choices are: Frequency Shift Keying (FSK) and Stutter Dial Tone (SDT)

Are there any generic, analog phones that you have got to work with the IP Office?

Thanks,

ipoffice 3.2 has no issues with MWI on analog sets, but ipoffice ver 4.0 will not correctly operate lights whne controlled via TAPI.

There are some settings that you needs to setup in the EXTENSIONs programing to "turn MWI ON"

when you open the manager and go to extensions the tab that contols the Lights should onyl need a setting of MWI ON unless you are using a special type of analog set that has NEON only light or requires a higher voltage to operate. but the seting you will find on the extension programing have many options.

nut again if it is an ipoffice 4.0 good luck, I advise all analog set useres to not go to 4.0 and wait for the 4.1 that is due to release in about a week. as they have corected this bug.
