Advice of charge feature activated but doesn't work.On the isdn trunk page 1 set the charge advice set to all the possible settings but the disp charge feature on the station doesn;t show the charge.It just shows call charge 0.00 units.

help needed...........

The pricing usually get's sent out by the provider.
They need to switch this on on your PRI's,
and the charge gets sent, on call-end.

 
In some countries the Advice Of Charge is slightly different from the ETSI or ITU speccifications so it will not work.

That is what is going on with Advice of Charge in the Netherlands from KPN.

Avaya will not make their software for Advice of Charge compatible with the KPN implementation.
(all other vendor's have)

[roll2] Funny story:
When KPN introduced ISDN and Advice of Charge this was when
Avaya was still a part of Lucent. Most of KPN's public switches are 5ESS from Lucent.
So in fact KPN paid Lucent to adjust the ETSI Advice of Charge format to a KPN format. Now Avaya only wants to develop that implementation on the DEFINITY if someone pays for it (e.g. the end users)[rofl]

we keep learning from you,
Actually, it was not KPN, but Versatel in Netherlands, we had to do implementation with , but they seem to use the same set-up then.
For what it is worth, they seem to have adopted the same config in Belgium as well.
