We have a customer that has some .WAV files for the auto attendents at each of there sites. does any body no if we need or of a good converter to put the files onto the embedded voicemail card.

Do they need to be g711 files or .cll or are these the same.

Thanks in advance.

The LVM function does this for you:

This command launches a utility that can be used to convert .wav files to the formats used by embedded voicemail (.c23 for Small Office Edition and .c11 for others). The source file must be in the standard format used for all IP Office applications: PCM, 8kHz 16-bit, mono.

The resulting named greeting files can then be transferred to the embedded voicemail memory card and selected as auto attendant greetings in the Recording Name field on the Auto Attendant | Auto Attendant tab. The same named greeting file can be used in several auto attendants.

Not sure what else to suggest except having another go and confirming the file appears and is approx the correct size (i.e not corrupted), I have done it maybe two or three times and it's worked, someone else may be of more use :)

iv double checked the file and it was corrupt. Iv remade it and its now working. needed a reboot for some reason tho i would have thought it should just come through straight away.?

There you go then, embedded often needs reboots for things that shouldn't :)
