Hi,
I have a customer who has just licenced 2 extra ports on their Serenade system, but I can't remember the commands to bring them into service. Please can someone enlighten me.
Many Thanks,
Nick. Speak softly and carry a big switch

Is the Serenade system anything like Octel's Overture 250? If so I can help.

I believe so, but I'm a bit of a dunderhead with Octel. The Commands list slot and Modify slot seem to ring a bell, but I have not worked with this product for over 2 years.
Many Thanks,
Nick. Speak softly and carry a big switch

New voice ports. They had a ten port system, now they want to go to tweleve. Speak softly and carry a big switch

So they just licenced 2 more ports, on a Overture 250 the FLT cards come in card densitys of 8. Is this true with the Serenade system?

We added 4 more ports about 2 years ago on ours and the one thing that sticks out is that the last pair on the 25 pair cable beeded to br connected to ground or else the ports would not work poroperly.
