Hi,

I have a list of hex values that I need to add in order to gather a checksum value. Does anyone have a way to calculate this ????

Thanks
Simpson

AFAIK, excel doesn't recognise HEX - you would need a formula to convert each individual HEX value to a numeric value

Scratch that comment - if you install the Analysis Toolpak, there is a function called HEX2DEC which you should be able to apply to your HEX values. This will convert them to numbers which you can then sum up
